News from WSMV

Over 750 people have signed an online petition to keep cell phone towers away from Williamson County Tennessee schools. On November 13, 2023 concerned parents and residents testified to the Williamson County Board of Commissioners and November 16, 2023, the issue was brought to the Williamson County School Board (2:02).

The parents and residents’ Change.org petition calls for the removal of a cell phone tower near Trinity Elementary School and to keep cell phone towers away from all schools in the county. The petition cites “multiple studies” saying long-term exposure to high levels of electromagnetic radiation can cause adverse health effects, including “cancerous tumors to neurological disorders.”  More at WSMV
