Below are 6 Youtube videos of the entire 6 hour hearing on the Link 5G jumbo towers. In the hearing Councilmembers grilled the New York Office of Technology and Companies on numerous issues including transparency, health effects and privacy.
New York City is slated to get dozens of new huge 30 foot 5G and 4G poles! Many residents are opposed.
The new jumbo LINK5G poles are very large, tall and have five tiers for transmitting antennas. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile are adding 5G technology in New York City with a combination of “macro” sites (wireless transmitters generally located on the rooftops), “small cells ” which are typically located on street poles and these jumbo 5G towers.
16 New York City Community Boards Have Passed Moratoriums and/or Letters of Disprovals
Community Boards across the city are having meetings to provide input, and numerous boards have issues disapprovals or moratoriums. Community Board 8 which includes areas of Upper East side of Manhattan and Roosevelt Island passed a 5G moratorium and several other Boards have followed suit.
