Statement on the Confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services

Environmental Health Trust congratulates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his Senate confirmation to become the 26th Secretary of Health and Human Services. Mr. Kennedy has been a leader in promoting environmental health and in helping to increase public awareness of the detrimental health impacts of wireless radiation on humans, flora, and fauna.

Mr. Kennedy partnered with EHT in the federal case Environmental Health Trust et al v. FCC, 2021, which resulted in the historic ruling that the FCC failed to explain its 2019 decision to retain its 1996 safety limits regarding wireless radiation exposure despite thousands of submitted scientific studies demonstrating negative impacts on the developing brain, reproduction, wildlife and the environment, children’s health, and a host of other injuries.

We look forward to Secretary Kennedy’s leadership on this and other topics at HHS, opening the door to a new era in wireless technology research and regulation.
