Balchik Municipality in Bulgaria Imposes Moratorium on Construction of 5G network

 

Balchik is the first municipality in Bulgaria to have banned the construction of a 5G network. On 30 September the local municipal council imposed a one-year moratorium on the construction of any such installations, Pro News Dobrich website reports. The decision comes as a result of a petition in which the signees state they do not want a 5G network because of “health risks.”

Over 600 cities in Italy have passed resolutions to halt 5G, as have cities throughout Europe, such as Trafford, United Kingdom, Lille, France,Ormidia, Cyprus. The Pancyprian Medical Association and Cyprus National Committee on the Environment and Child Health sent Parliament their position paper “The Risks to Public Health from the Use of the 5G Network.” Bermuda has halted 5G pending a report on safety. Switzerland’s report on 5G health effects resulted in the Parliament’s refusal to loosen their radiation limits despite heavy industry lobbying efforts. The Netherlands issued a 5G report that recommended measuring radiation levels and also recommended against using the 26 GHz frequency band for 5G “for as long as the potential health risks have not been investigated.”

Entire countries like France, Switzerland, and Nigeria are having a national conversation on the safety of 5G and they are launching major investigations to research the issue of safety. (Details HERE)

In the United States, cities such as Petaluma, Mill ValleyMonterey in California, and Doylestown in Pennsylvania have voted and passed policies to halt 5G or restrict the rollout into neighborhoods. Details HERE.
