Devra Davis was professor of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. She presents her book, When Smoke Ran Like Water: Tales of Environmental Deception and the Battle Against Pollution, a National Book Award Finalist in a March 20, 2008, lecture at the Miller Center at The University of Virginia.
