Carcinogenesis Studies of Cell Phone Radiofrequency Radiation

The Report of Partial Findings from the National Toxicology Program Carcinogenesis Studies of Cell Phone Radiofrequency Radiation in rats using frequencies and modulations used in the US telecommunications industry raises serious concerns in particular on the effect of this radiation on the health of children.

The study that was performed on rats and showed increased risk of developing tumors in the brain and the heart.

It is well known that children are more sensitive to radiation than adults; many of them are using cellphone and other radiating media more frequently than adults. The effect of radiation is accumulative and this may have long term effect on the growing child. Such findings in the pharma industry may prevent further developing of a drug until safety is proven, and until the findings of this study are confirmed parents should be aware of the potential hazards of carcinogenic potential of radiofrequency radiation.
